I am a 48 year old photographer, artist, husband, father, marathoner, and nature lover.

I was born in LA in 1960. Raised in the married student housing at UCLA, San Francisco State University and finally at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Arriving in full "flower child" flare, I quickly discovered that I didn't quite fit in. Well, the good news is, nothing ever changes. Maybe my hair and clothes... but not me, the way I approach a project, and my business philosophy still keep me from "fitting in." Being different does set me apart too, and I'm proud of that.

Being a faculty brat gave me great exposure to some pretty cutting edge computers in the seventies and I simply fell in love. But alas, back then you really did have to be a rocket scientist to get in and that, I wasn't. I had to wait almost 20 years until I could afford to buy my own computer. That's when I shifted gears from 15 years behind a camera to where I am today. Loving and hating this digital revolution.
